Hi Parents,
It is sure to be a fun and busy week at Tritt this week! We are so fortunate to have a week dedicated to learn about different disabilities, exceptional children, and how to accept everyone. We will hear from speaker Brent Pease and the students are sure to be inspired! The penguins look great and are currently displayed in the ILC! Thanks for the hard work on this project!
Here is what we are learning about this week:
Math: In Math we are going to finish up our measurement and line plot unit with our final assessment on Monday. Then we will move into learning how to tell time to the minute and learn elapsed time.
Science: Last week we did not get to our science projects in class due to the day off so we are going to continue that this week. Students will make an in class presentation after working on a poster or booklet on animal adaptations.
Writing: This week in writing students will start a new opinion piece but we will focus on our editing skills when writing. We will learn about revising as we write.
Reading: In Reading we will practice answering questions about a text using text evidence.
Week in Review:
Monday: Exceptional Children's Week Speaker
Tuesday:
Wednesday:
Thursday: Target Day
Friday: Guidance and Parent Reader
Have a great week!
